The Valentino Petale Tote is yet another patent masterpiece featuring one of this season’s biggest trends: a luscious leather rose.
This Italian leather tote is a good size — 14″H x 14″W x 4″D. Beware, though, that means it’s a lot of red and a very large flower. This purse is definitely only for the truly bold. This much red and a flower that big could easily go awry with the wrong outfit — if you’re unsure of what to pair it with, play it safe and purchase the bag in black or taupe.
We’d love to see this bag with white, black, or gray, but beware the blues, as you might start to look a little aggressively patriotic. It is a bag for the opera, a gala, brunch, or maybe a day at the museum, and will turn heads wherever it goes. Not for the shy wallflowers among us!
