Louis Vuitton Monogramouflage Lys

Monogram + camouflage = monogramouflage. Duh. When two geniuses collide, you’re clearly going to have some enlightening results on your hands. In this case, it’s Marc Jacobs and Takashi Murakami, who collaborated and came up with the highly anticipated Louis Vuitton Monogramouflage collection. It was met with great fanfare and hoopla, and clearly camouflage enthusiasts in particular have a vested interest in the line.
The Monogramouflage Lys unites denim canvas with leather trim and bears the iconic monogram print over a camouflaged background. Flashes of contrasting red patent leather, both on the name tag and the engraved nameplate, add a pop of color that somehow gives the bag even greater cachet as the only military-chic piece worth considering. Limited edition and destined to be a favorite (however fleeting) of Louis Vuitton and camouflage fanatics alike, the bag is $2090 at eLuxury.
