Depending on how you view history and its contributions to fashion, the new Coach Classics collection either fascinates you or puts you right to sleep. Despite my firm belief that style is cyclical (fact!) and that everything old eventually becomes new again, there’s something about these old Coach styles, which have been reintroduced from the label’s classic archives of the 1970s, that is just boring. Maybe it’s my inner thrill-seeking, fashion-forward beast putting to rest any thoughts of carrying something so…simple.
