Burberry Buckle-detailed Leather Tote
I was surprised to find that the Burberry Buckle-detailed Leather Tote was indeed Burberry; my mind had already pegged it as Alexander Wang or another designer with a little more edge. The purse is good looking enough, so I think it’s my preconceived notions of what Burberry should be are skewing my opinion, but something about those belts makes me think of a straight jacket. It’s almost like this bag is about to burst at the seams, and from the black leather exterior will emerge a conservative, checked tote, relieved to be itself again. It’s $1,695 at Net-A-Porter.
